EMAILS FROM YOUR BODY
YOUR BODY IS NOT A TAXI FOR YOUR BRAIN
IS YOUR LIFELONG LOVE AND I WILL TELL YOU WHY… Most of us treat our body like a taxi. We jump in every morning, give it a destination, and expect it to get us there. Work. Gym. School run. Deadline. Grocery store. Home. As long as the engine starts, we assume everything is fine. But…

IS YOUR LIFELONG LOVE AND I WILL TELL YOU WHY…
Most of us treat our body like a taxi.
We jump in every morning, give it a destination, and expect it to get us there.
Work. Gym. School run. Deadline. Grocery store. Home.
As long as the engine starts, we assume everything is fine.
But your body is not a taxi for your brain.
It is not here simply to carry your thoughts from point A to point B, open the fridge, type emails, sit through meetings, or survive another busy week.
Your body feels.
It communicates.
It stores experiences.
It expresses emotions.
It protects you.
It adapts to stress.
It celebrates joy.
It tries, every single day, to keep you alive and in balance.
The problem is that many of us have become experts at ignoring its messages.
We override hunger. Push through exhaustion. Dismiss headaches. Explain away tension. Silence emotions. Delay rest.
“Just one more email.”
“Just one more task.”
“I’ll deal with it later.”
Sometimes later becomes months. Sometimes years.
The body is remarkably patient. It starts with gentle notifications: a tight jaw, restless sleep, low energy, a knot in the stomach, sore shoulders, shallow breathing.
When those messages go unread, it often sends another.
And another.
And another.
The goal isn’t to scare you. Your body is not working against you. Quite the opposite.
Every signal is an attempt to communicate.Every sensation carries information.Every emotion creates a physical response.
The question is not: How do I make this feeling go away?
The question is: What is my body trying to tell me?
This guide is an invitation to become curious instead of critical. To listen instead of override. To build a relationship with your body rather than treating it like a machine.
Because your body is doing far more than carrying your brain around.
It’s carrying your life.
Start treating it like a teammate, partner, the one and only relationship for the lifetime.
Berlin Well
